End-of-life policy

Vectra AI Appliance End-of-Life Policy

As a general rule, Vectra will provide 3 months' notice of the affected appliance end-of-sale date and/or the last day when the affected appliance can be ordered. This notice will appear on this page and we encourage you to visit it regularly for the latest status.

Appliances will be fully supported for 3 years from the end-of-sale date for all customers with a current and fully-paid subscription and support license. This will include:

  1. Access to run new software version updates, patches, and bug fixes
  2. Technical support and bug fixes
  3. RMA or spare parts in the case of hardware failures

After 3 years from the end-of-sale date, the appliance will be end-of-life. End-of-life appliances will no longer:

  1. be able to receive version updates or patches to the Vectra software and therefore will not receive new features, algorithm enhancements, bug fixes or any other update
  2. be eligible for technical support
  3. be covered for hardware break-fix (RMA or spare parts)
