By combining cryptomining malware with an NSA exploit, “attackers can proactively generate revenue but stay hidden to deploy new attack vectors," says Chris Morales, Vectra head of security analytics. The good news is AI can find these attacks without prior knowledge of their existence by looking for attacker behaviors instead of the malware used.
