Stephan Hoehl

MXDR Security Analyst

Stephan Hoehl is a MXDR Security Analyst at Vectra AI, where he investigates threats across network, identity, and endpoint and helps managed-detection customers respond to active attacks. He holds a PhD and a background in mathematics, which he applies to how detections are analyzed and how intrusions are pieced together.

Previously, Stephan led detection-and-response security service assurance for EMEA at a global EDR vendor's SOC. His research focuses on using historical triage decisions as data to sharpen how detections separate routine activity from real threats.
