Vectra Networks Launches New Global Channel Partner Program

March 23, 2016

Vectra® Networks, the leader in automated threat management, today launched the company’s new Global Channel Partner Program, which is designed to attract, educate and enable valued channel partners to deliver automated, real-time detection and analysis of in-progress cyber attacks to customers.

“We made an intentional decision from the beginning to embrace the channel community because they are critical to our success,” said Hitesh Sheth, president and CEO of Vectra Networks. “Cybersecurity is critical to every organization because the threat is already inside.”

“Our channel partners have trusted relationships with their customers and know their network requirements,” he added. “Additionally, in partnership with Vectra, they can now help their customers address the growing cybersecurity skill set gap.”

Program Highlights

For resellers and system integrators with network security practices, the Vectra Networks channel partner program presents an opportunity to boost partners’ existing security portfolios with technology that fills the gap between prevention and forensics in an organization’s current security architecture.

  • Partnership Levels The new program comprises three levels – Authorized, Premier and Elite. All Authorized partners are eligible to resell Vectra products and services. As partners grow their business with Vectra Networks and achieve specific milestones, they advance through the program and receive additional support and benefits. Some benefits include, deal registration, access to sales leads, dedicated account team training, demo gear, participation in joint sales calls, and joint marketing investment.
  • Vectra Partner Portal A valuable resource center to help partners throughout every stage of the sales cycle from on-boarding and training to deal registration and through to pre- and post-sales support. The portal contains valuable sales and marketing tools, channel program information, deal registration request, training modules, and the latest news and updates.
  • Training Tailored training sessions are offered to channel partners via the Vectra Partner Portal and can be completed through online learning modules or through face-to-face sessions.
  • Value-added Services Authorized partners can earn the opportunity to offer additional value-added services such as post-purchase detection reviews, managed security services and professional services. Channel partners can also resell Vectra professional services offerings to customers.

Vectra Networks was recently named to the “2016 Security 100 List” by CRN magazine, which identified vendors that have “demonstrated creativity and innovation in product development, as well as a strong commitment to delivering those offerings through a vibrant channel of solution providers.” The list also serves as a “valuable guide for solution providers trying to navigate the IT security market,” and “aids prospective channel partners in identifying the vendors that can best help them improve or expand their security offerings.”

North America Partner Quotes:

Colin Brissey, Vice President of Business Development, Adaptive Integration

“Adaptive Integration focuses on providing our customers with solutions from vendors that are truly disrupting the technology landscape by offering new ways to solve complex problems, and we chose to partner with Vectra Networks for this very reason. The Vectra platform makes it possible for our customers to look at network traffic and through automated behavioral analysis and threat analytics, they can easily identify real threats on their network by certainty and severity. Something that would otherwise take countless man hours and resources that many of our customers do not have. In addition, there has never been a moment in our partnership where we have had trouble gaining access to anyone or any resource at Vectra. That makes them a solid addition to our solution portfolio.”

Michael Tavares, CTO, Integration Partners

“Integration Partners prides itself on offering our customers the most robust network security technology and expertise in the industry. To do this, we are very selective in deciding which vendors we will add to our product portfolio. Vectra Networks brings a unique solution to address what we see as a clear gap in the market - how to address active cyber attacks on the network in real-time. Technology aside, we have found that Vectra is a true partner to us in every sense – we get the support that we need, when we need it. We look forward to continue to grow our business with Vectra Networks.”

Paul Kerr, President and CEO, Scalar Decisions, Canada

“We take a collaborative approach to innovation and problem solving at Scalar Decisions, so it is imperative that the technology partners that we choose to work with do the same. Vectra Networks is approaching a very complex problem with a very intuitive solution – their technology watches and learns what is happening on the network and then identifies threats on the network according to severity. This takes the guesswork out for our customers and makes them an ideal solution offering in our portfolio.”

EMEA Partner Quotes:

Adam Davison, Sales Director, Cloud Distribution UK

"We chose to partner with Vectra for their ability to continuously and actively identify abnormal network behavior to stop an attack, filling a critical security gap. The commercial opportunity to differentiate and create high value for both customers and partners alike is compelling. We’ve found the Vectra team highly supportive in all our engagements. It is great to see them investing in the channel and providing additional resources through their new partner program.”

Simon Crumplin, Founder, Secrutiny UK

“Our customers are increasingly aware that traditional prevention techniques, particularly at the perimeter, are no longer enough. We needed to find a solution that would help them to better address the gap in their cybersecurity posture and we found that with Vectra Networks. Apart from Vectra’s leading edge technology, they also come to the table with the expertise and support that we require from vendors, so that we can bring a complete solution offering to our customers.”

Andreas Schlechter, Managing Director, Telonic, GmbH Germany

“Our customers put faith in us to help them determine which solutions will best serve their needs and as such, we set very high expectations when it comes to choosing partners to add to our technology portfolio. Vectra Networks goes beyond the traditional perimeter security offerings that are so prevalent today. By combining machine learning, data science and behavioral analysis, their technology can quickly identify malicious behavior and very clearly alert our customers to threats before they can do any damage. Vectra has exceeded our expectations in the quality of support that they provide to us and in turn to our customers.”

Iain Wadds, Security Consultant, Tarsus Technology Group

"At Tarsus SecureData we pride ourselves in working with vendors that lead the market in terms of innovation and performance. Whilst we carefully select our technology partners, we find there are increasing overlaps in their solutions which makes it difficult to differentiate them uniquely. It’s therefore so refreshing to find a new vendor coming to market with something that differentiates our security stack so completely with a visionary approach to addressing undetected malware infections and insider threats in the network. Our partnership with Vectra Networks has received an enthusiastic response from our customers and it’s a pleasure working with their knowledgeable and professional team."
