Spammers failed to password-protect their backups, exposing 1.37 billion people. “The UK is ranked sixth globally for exposed IPMI hosts, making it a tantalizing target for hackers," says Matt Walmsley, EMEA director at Vectra. "Attackers use unsecured servers and databases to gain access to a company’s sensitive information and assets."
