The €8.7bn Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) has invested €10m in an American cybersecurity firm that uses artificial intelligence to monitor threats to computer systems. Vectra, based in California, plans to open a research and development centre in Dublin and create “up to 100 jobs over the next five years,” according to ISIF.
