“The manufacturing industry is putting everything online, and they’re doing it fast,” says Chris Morales, head of security analytics at Vectra. “Some are putting steel blast furnaces online, or robots and welding equipment. They’ve got the motivation to automate but security is not involved in a lot of the buying decisions.”
