Vectra Networks, the leader in automated threat management, today announced that Kevin Moore, a noted sales veteran in the security industry, was appointed senior vice president of worldwide sales. In this role, he is responsible for all direct and channel sales globally.
A San Francisco Bay Area native, Moore brings nearly two decades of sales and sales operations experience to his new position at Vectra, having spent 13 successful years at cloud-based security-as-a-service firm Proofpoint, from its first product shipment to post-IPO.
“Kevin has a proven track record of success in leading and scaling sales organizations from early revenue to IPO,” said Hitesh Sheth, president and CEO of Vectra. “He’s been the cornerstone of every sales organization he’s worked in and I am thrilled to have him join us to lead the growth of our worldwide sales operations.”
Before Vectra, Moore was vice president of sales at Proofpoint, where he was most recently responsible for global strategic accounts, as well as leading its global sales expansion efforts into the Asia-Pacific theater.
