Vectra AI, which provides a cloud-based service that uses artificial intelligence technology to monitor both on-premise and cloud-based networks for intrusions, has closed a round of $130 million at a post-money valuation of $1.2 billion. CEO Hitesh Sheth said that the funding will be used in two areas to continue expanding its technology to meet the demands of an ever-growing threat landscape as well as for future acquisitions to bring in new technology and potentially more customers.
