Cryptocurrency mining can be lucrative. And it’s happening more frequently on college campuses, according to a study released Vectra. “Students are more likely to perform cryptomining because they don’t pay for power, the primary cost of cryptomining,” Chris Morales, head of security analytics at Vectra.
